Chemical Operations Factory is the production unit where all rail vehicles manufactured and repaired are painted, sanding and surface cleaning before painting and manufacturing of composite materials. The factory, which operates on an area of ​​6.700 m2, has 8 executive-technical personnel and 54 worker personnel.

For the surface treatment of the wagon whose body manufacture has been completed; First, sandblasting is done in the blasting cabin until the desired surface quality is achieved. Sandblasted wagon is primed with epoxy lining against corrosion. After the primer, isolation is applied to sensitive areas, especially to the welding and connection points.

Then, vibration and sound insulation material is applied to the base sheet, inner side walls, checkers. Wagons, where putty application is applied to provide a smooth outer surface, are subjected to the finishing paint process in the Paint Booths in accordance with the technical drawings.

Located within the factory; Painting and repair wagons in the paint shop branch in 3 existing paint booths with polyurethane based paints. Composite materials such as cab-mask, bumper, WC cabin are produced by hand molds in accordance with technical drawings. In addition, the damaged composite materials belonging to the repaired wagons are repaired.

Steel materials used in manufacturing wagons and manufacturing wagons are painted after sandblasting. These operations are carried out in the wagon sandblasting and bogie sandblasting-painting booths of the factory.
