TURASAS Sivas Regional Directorate is 85 Years Old

The 85th anniversary of the Sivas Regional Directorate of the Turkish Rail System Vehicles Industry Corporation (TÜRASAŞ) was celebrated with events.

As part of the celebration program traditionally held every 5 years, a new generation National Freight Wagon and a Workshop photo exhibition from the past to the present were set up in the garden of the Sivas Congress Building and Şemsi Sivasi Library.

The exhibition included photographs taken from the establishment of the factory to the present as well as model products.

Governor Yılmaz Şimşek, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz, Sivas Deputy Rukiye Toy and Sivas Mayor Adem Uzun attended the program organized within the scope of the 85th anniversary events of the TÜRASAŞ Sivas Regional Directorate.

Following the protocol speeches, the program continued with theater, choir and folklore shows, all of which were created by the institution's personnel.
