Our Eskişehir-5000 project has many prominent features. For example; Each of the traction motors has a power of 1,280 kilowatts and is the highest power traction motor designed in our country to date. Each of the traction converters has a power of 2.5 megawatts and is the highest power high voltage traction converter designed in our country for a rail system vehicle; In addition, the first domestically designed vehicle body, the first bogie and the first train control and management system for mainline locomotives came to life with this project. "By procuring the locomotive from approximately 115 domestic suppliers, a great contribution was made to the economy and reducing the current account deficit."
