Mr. Barış CAN, who has a bachelor's degree from Hacettepe University, Department of Economics, and a master's degree from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Department of Economics, is currently continuing his doctoral studies at Ankara Social Sciences University, Department of Economics.

Barış CAN, who started his professional career as an Assistant Treasury Specialist in 2014, specialized in public finance and Treasury cash management. CAN, which has many national and international academic publications, designed and implemented the "Single Treasury Institutions Account" project in 2018 for the effective management of public resources. For these works, she was deemed worthy of the "Outstanding Performance Award" by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in 2019.

Barış CAN, who worked at various levels of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Public Finance by Presidential Decree No. 2023/179 on March 31, 2023, and he still continues this duty. Additionally, he has been a member of the PEMPAL Treasury Community of Practice (TCOP) Executive Committee since 2024.

Barış CAN, who was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of TÜRASAŞ by the Presidential Decree No. 2024/196 on 02 July 2024, is married and has a child and speaks English fluently.
