Welding Education and Technology Center

In 1930, with the Welding House, efforts to train the welder personnel and increase the quality of welding started. Turkey's Welding Engineer Nuvit OSMAY starting with the first of these studies has entered a period of stagnation and then gradually forgotten.

In the 2000s, welded manufacturing has become more important in the Railway Sector, and the necessity to be done by qualified and certified welding personnel has been specified in European standards and international standards. TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Directorate has also started its studies to meet this requirement.
 
As a result of the works carried out as TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Directorate Welding Training and Technology Center;
 
• TS EN ISO 9606-1:2017,
• TS EN ISO 9606-2:2007,
• TS EN ISO 14732: 2014,
 
to educate according to these standards for welder and weld operators. Also, the personnel certifications' educations about accreditations according to these standards. The education calendar is determined by mutual.
