Boji Factory

Boji Factory is the production unit that carries out the manufacturing and repair works of the bogies of the vehicles used in the rail system passenger transportation and provides safe vehicles for railways with its advanced technology and sensitive test devices. The factory, which operates on an area of ​​10.000 m2, has 7 executive-technical personnel and 80 worker personnel.

Located within the factory; In Schlieren Boji Repair and Manufacturing Branch, test checks of Schlieren Bogies used in RIC type wagons and wheel repair, maintenance, repair and assembly operations of all kinds of railway vehicles, and bogies of 5600 series rail buses used in Y-32 Boji Manufacturing and Repair Branch are carried out.

In addition to production, axle and hydrodynamic transmission maintenance and repair are carried out in the transmission workshop.

In addition, gearbox maintenance and repair operations of some wagons, especially High Speed ​​Train, are also carried out here. In addition, automatic coupler maintenance activities are the responsibility of the Boji Factory.

Technological opportunity can be evaluated in the most clear way before and after the process by means of the test devices installed.

Passenger wagons have disc brake bogies that can speed up to 160 km per hour, and electropneumatic door systems that lock automatically at 5 km speed.
